Staying at the Sail Loft

Set in the stylish centre of Cowes, the Sail Loft is a luxurious grade-2 listed two-bedroom holiday home. It is the perfect place from where to enjoy Cowes' fashionable social and sailing scene. Having been recently acquired it is due to undergo full refurbishment over the winter ready for 2024.

Make yourself at home in the spacious living room downstairs where you can enjoy the latest Netflix movies on the flatscreen TV, or if you prefer, enjoy a quiet evening with our collection of books and games. Across the hallway, the well-equipped kitchen is the place to cook up a meal made from fresh local ingredients which you can get from the butcher, fishmonger, and of course, wine merchant that are all on your doorstep.

At the end of the day, retreat upstairs to the peace and tranquillity of one of the Sail Loft's two comfy double bedrooms, or take a relaxing soak in the bath, where you will find fluffy towels and and luxurious cosmetics waiting for you.  

After a long day on the water or exploring the island, the Sail Loft is the perfect base from which to visit some of the island's best restaurants. The Smoking Lobster and Gastronomy are within a two minute walk, while those who fancy something livelier will find themselves close to Cowes' pubs and bars, whether for a relaxing drink or live music in the evening. 

The Sail Loft is the ideal location for sailors who prefer to spend their night ashore while enjoying Cowes' many sailing events. It is just a two minute walk along the High Street to Cowes Yacht Haven, a similar distance to the Royal Yacht Squadron, RORC, RLYC and other local clubs, and within comfortable walking distance of UKSA.

And when you are ready to explore the Isle of Wight, you will find that attractions such as the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, and our favourite, the Garlic Farm, are all easily reached from the Sail Loft.
